Welding

Sypris provides a wide range of welding capabilities, mostly in support of manufacturing in our Engineered Products (Tube Turns) business unit.

Welding methods include GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, and SAW. Materials Including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Aluminum, Duplex and many more per customer’s requirements and specifications.

All welding activities are performed in accordance with The American Society of Mechanical Engineers Certification (ASME) Section VIII, Division 1. ASME Certificate Number: 48608.

Additionally, Sypris holds PED Registration, European Directive 2014/68/EU, Annex I Par. 4.3, required for the manufacture (forge and Machining) of pressurized vessels.
